Matsa Resources Limited (MAT) has intersected multiple high-grade gold zones during its initial diamond drilling campaign at the Fortitude North prospect, part of the company's Lake Carey Gold Project in Western Australia. The results from the first four holes confirm the presence of stacked mineralized lodes within the Fortitude Shear corridor. Among the notable intercepts, one hole returned 15.2 metres at 2.93g/t gold from 298.8 metres, while another highlighted 8.4 metres at 3.62g/t gold.

These results are being used to refine the structural model of the mineralized system, which extends over a 1.7-kilometre strike length. The company aims to leverage this data to better understand the alteration and controls on gold deposition across the project.

The company is currently undertaking an initial 10,000-metre drilling campaign. With seven holes completed to date and assays received for four, management is actively integrating these findings into an updated, project-wide exploration strategy. This effort is designed to systematically test the full potential of the Lake Carey tenement package, which remains a core focus of the company’s current operational activity.

As the program progresses, the upcoming transition to a lake-based drill rig is intended to facilitate continued exploration across the prospect.
