Maverick Gold and Silver Corp. has returned assay results ranging from trace to 7.21 grams per tonne gold and up to 644.0 grams per tonne silver from its first comprehensive sampling program at the Jericho Property in Lincoln County, Nevada.

The initial work program established a property-wide baseline geochemistry database across 153 analyzed samples from a total of 171 collected chip channel and grab samples. The program confirmed the widespread distribution of silver and gold along two sub-parallel northeast-striking structural corridors: the West Trend, traced for over four kilometres, and the East Trend, traced for two kilometres. Continuity of mineralization was established along a two-kilometre strike length, with higher-grade material identified across two zones measuring over two hundred metres each.

Highlights from the sampling program include a chip channel sample at the Tempa Zone returning 4.50 metres grading 1.37 grams per tonne gold and 323.33 grams per tonne silver. At the President's Zone, a chip channel sample over 5.25 metres returned 3.16 grams per tonne gold and 54.00 grams per tonne silver. Sampling also identified potential for a bulk tonnage target within limited testing of the footwall stockwork zone.

The samples included 133 chip channel and 20 grab samples taken from the mineralized dumps that were beside the historic workings.

“Wherever possible the dump material beside the workings was sampled. Grab samples from the mine dumps are important because, although it is unknown as to what depth the material comes from, the mineralization within the dumps give indications of the style and tenor of mineralization from within the working”, stated Ian Foreman, P.Geo., VP, Exploration of Maverick Gold and Silver. “At this early stage of exploration, it is the only way to get a view into the third dimension other than drilling.”

In April 2026, Maverick expanded the Jericho Property by 370% through staking 62 new claims, bringing the holding to 85 mineral claims covering 1,683 acres. Maverick Gold and Silver Corp. plans to conduct additional sampling and mapping programs at the Jericho Property prior to a drill program.
