Maverick Gold and Silver Corp. has returned gold grades exceeding 1 g/t from chip channel and grab samples across the northern portion of the Jericho Property in Lincoln County, Nevada, highlighted by a 1.5-metre sample grading 2.56 g/t gold at the Upper Flats Zone.

The 18-sample program covered the Fluorite Flat, Upper Flats, and NE Extension Zones, representing the northeastern two-kilometre section of the property's West Trend. At the Fluorite Flat Zone, situated 550 metres from earlier sampling at the Tempa Zone, 14 samples yielded gold values ranging from trace to 2.16 g/t gold, with five samples returning more than 0.5 g/t gold. A chip channel sample over 1.4 metres at Fluorite Flat averaged 1.37 g/t gold.

X-ray diffraction and thin section analyses indicate that the underlying volcanic rocks across Fluorite Flat and Upper Flats are strongly clay-altered with illite and smectite, alongside silica-flooding and irregular quartz stringers. Maverick interprets this alteration as an epithermal signature typical of active fluid pathways occurring above deeper mineralization.

The company expanded the property's footprint earlier in the year through staking 62 additional claims, bringing the total holding to 85 claims covering 1,683 acres across the Lincoln County district. Maverick plans to conduct detailed follow-up exploration and a drill program at the property during 2026.
