MAX Power Hits Record Natural Hydrogen Readings at Lawson 4

MAX Power Mining Corp. has completed the Lawson 4 well at the Lawson Natural Hydrogen Discovery in south-central Saskatchewan, returning the highest drill-rig gas detection readings for natural hydrogen recorded to date at the project.
Drilled to a total measured depth of 2,400 meters, Lawson 4 intersected a 20.5-meter interval between 2,290 meters and 2,310.5 meters in the basal Cambrian Sandstone unit with strong permeability and porosity. This section was cored with 96.6% recovery and yielded increasingly elevated natural hydrogen readings. An adjacent 30.9-meter interval from 2,310.5 meters to 2,341.4 meters was also cored with 98% recovery, featuring favorable mafic-ultramafic source rocks.
The well also recovered the first cores from the Interlake Formation between 2,001 meters and 2,031.6 meters, returning multiple zones of interest for both natural hydrogen and helium. While the deep crustal fault conduit beginning at 2,310.5 meters remains open as to its dip, strike, and extent, upcoming core analysis and geophysical reviews by GLJ will help evaluate the structure.
MAX Power commenced its multi-well commercial validation drilling program at the Lawson Complex in July 2026 following initial discovery drilling in late 2025. Previous commercial validation wells at the complex were drilled within approximately 2 kilometers of each other.
