Maximus Metals Defines Property-Wide Polymetallic Soil Anomalies at Gaspard
Maximus Metals Inc. has completed its Phase 1 property-wide soil geochemical program at the Gaspard project in south-central British Columbia, identifying a coherent polymetallic signature marked by copper, zinc, lead, silver, and gold alongside pathfinder elements.
The exploration program, located approximately 60 kilometres west of Williams Lake, mapped elevated copper values across a broad west-central domain. Base metal results returned zinc concentrations up to 169 ppm and lead values up to 8.3 ppm, overlapping with silver reaching 0.66 ppm. Fire assay gold results defined two distinct northeast-trending corridors of approximately 800 metres of strike length, where gold-in-soil values reached a project peak of 91 ppb alongside stations ranging from 10 ppb to 60 ppb.
Pathfinder support including arsenic up to 8 ppm, antimony up to 2.1 ppm, tungsten up to 0.51 ppm, and molybdenum up to 2.5 ppm clustered in the central and western portions of the tenure. The company collected all samples following up on 2025 Mobile Metal Ion anomalies, submitting them to SGS Canada Inc. in Burnaby for multi-element aqua regia digestion and 30-gram fire assay analysis.
“The Phase 1 geochemical program was designed to build on the mobile metal ion geochemistry completed across the Project in 2025. The 2025 MMI results defined three anomalous areas where follow-up sampling was recommended. The 2026 work program has refined those targets and generated several strongly anomalous zones of copper, lead and zinc. We are pleased by the polymetallic nature of the soil geochemistry and will be using this data to determine any further exploration at the Gaspard property.”

Maximus Metals plans to use the complete multi-element dataset to rank exploration targets for the remainder of the 2026 program and the 2027 season, with potential follow-up work to include infill soil sampling, geological mapping, ground geophysics, and applications for trenching and drill permits.
Gold traded at US$4,345.50 per ounce, reflecting a 6.73% increase over the preceding thirty-day period. Maximus Metals shares closed up 37.25% over the trailing one-month period ending August 6, 2026.
