Mayfair Gold Advances Fenn-Gib Permitting and Engineering Following Q2 Results
Mayfair Gold Corp. reported its operating and financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, continuing development work at its 100%-owned Fenn-Gib gold project in the Timmins region of Northern Ontario.
The pre-feasibility study for Fenn-Gib outlines initial development capital of C$450 million, a base-case payback period of 2.7 years, and cumulative free cash flow of US$896 million over the first six years of production based on a US$3,100 per ounce gold price. The deposit hosts a 4.3 million ounce indicated mineral resource across 181.3 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.74 grams per tonne, including a near-surface probable mineral reserve of 1.0 million ounce contained in 25.1 million tonnes at an average grade of 1.29 grams per tonne.
A grade control program evaluation announced in June 2026 returned 28% more tonnes at a 7% higher grade for material above 3.0 grams per tonne gold compared to the reserve model.
Mayfair Gold is advancing environmental baseline studies and preparing the Ontario-led One Project, One Process environmental approval submission, targeting construction start at the Fenn-Gib project in 2028 with initial production in 2030.
