Mayfair Gold Corp. has appointed Desmond Tranquilla as Chief Projects Officer and Ruben Wallin as Senior Vice President, Sustainability, bolstering its management as the company advances the Fenn-Gib gold project toward a 2028 construction decision and the Ontario government's One Project, One Process framework.

The additions follow leadership appointments including Drew Anwyll as CEO in May 2026 and Kevin Annett as CFO in April 2026, building technical depth to guide the Northern Ontario asset through approvals and development.

Mr. Tranquilla brings over 35 years of engineering experience, including major developments such as Vale’s C$1.6 billion emission reduction project and the C$1.5 billion Detour Lake Mine. Mr. Wallin brings more than three decades of experience in environmental stewardship and permitting, previously serving at Generation Mining during approvals for the Marathon Project.

Mayfair Gold also granted stock options to both incoming officers to acquire 200,000 common shares each, at an exercise price based on the 5-day volume-weighted average trading price on the TSX Venture Exchange on August 24, 2026, expiring August 24, 2031. Additionally, the company issued 2,452,500 performance restricted share units to officers and employees, which will vest upon meeting specific Fenn-Gib advancement milestones.

“I am pleased to welcome Des and Ruben to Mayfair Gold as we advance Fenn-Gib toward a construction decision. Their appointments strengthen two critical areas of project execution on an accelerated timeline.”

— Drew Anwyll, CEO of Mayfair Gold
