Meeka Completes Mt Holland Gold Acquisition and Secures 24km Greenstone Package
Meeka Metals Limited has completed the acquisition of the Blue Vein, Bushpig and Razorback gold deposits near Mt Holland in Western Australia, taking control of a 71-square-kilometre tenement package in the Forrestania greenstone belt.
Under the terms of the transaction, Meeka paid $10 million in cash at completion, issued 117,804,881 fully paid ordinary shares subject to 12 months of voluntary escrow, and committed to a further $10 million in deferred consideration due on November 13, 2026. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Forrestania Mining Pty Ltd, has also assumed a third-party royalty of $25 per ounce of gold produced and sold from the tenements, while lithium exploration and mining rights remain subject to a separate third-party agreement.

The acquired ground covers approximately 24 kilometres of north-south striking banded iron formation units that hosted historical production of roughly 1.2 million ounces at 5.12 grams per tonne gold from the nearby Bounty gold mine prior to 2001. The area has seen little to no modern gold-focused exploration in the past 15 years, despite historical intercepts at Blue Vein including 20 metres at 12.8 grams per tonne gold from 63 metres.
“Having historically produced ~1.2Moz of gold, this fertile Archaean greenstone belt presents a compelling growth opportunity for us. T he belt has received very little modern exploration for gold over the past 15 years despite significant past production and strong evidence there is more gold to be found. W e intend to systematically drill test t he ~24km of north -south striking, gold -hosting BIF units within the acquired tenure over the next 12 -18 months.”

Verification of historical drilling to facilitate the conversion of non-2012 JORC Mineral Resources is largely completed, with updated resources expected to be reported for Blue Vein, Bushpig and Razorback in October 2026. Meeka plans to commence down-plunge extensional drilling at Blue Vein in January 2027, alongside systematic drill testing across the wider banded iron formation package.
Meanwhile, nearby activity in the district continues to highlight the belt's potential, with Medallion Metals reporting high-grade intercepts including 5 metres at 5.80 grams per tonne gold from 106 metres at the Lounge Lizard deposit within the Forrestania project in August 2026.
