Meeka Metals Intersects Visible Gold 300m Below Turnberry Reserve
Meeka Metals has intersected visible gold at 632.8m down hole within drill hole 26TBRD010 at the Murchison Gold Project, marking the deepest drilling completed to date at the Turnberry deposit.
The new intercept lies within a broad zone of shearing approximately 300m below the Turnberry Underground Reserve. Visual logging indicates the mineralisation is associated with chalcopyrite, pyrite, albite, and magnetite. Shearing intensity appears to increase toward the central zone at Turnberry, corresponding with increased grade and width of mineralisation at depth. Previous deep diamond drilling at the deposit returned significant high-grade results, including hole 26TBRD002 with 52.3m at 3.0g/t Au from 474.1m and hole 26TBRD004 with 18.0m at 3.0g/t Au from 533.0m.

To accelerate the ongoing evaluation of this large gold system, Meeka Metals mobilised a second diamond drill rig to the site in mid-August. The expanded drilling setup is targeting further extensions and potentially the deeper source of high-grade gold at Turnberry.
“While we await further assays from this drilling, the shearing , visible gold and abundance of sulphide minerals that correlate with higher gold grades in previous drill holes provide strong encouragement.”
“We have also mobilised a second diamond drill rig to accelerate drilling , target ing further extensions and potentially th e deeper source of this high -grade gold at Turnberry .”

Laboratory assay results for diamond drill hole 26TBRD010 are expected in September 2026, following detailed logging and sample despatch. Meeka Metals cautioned that references to visible gold and visual estimates relate solely to the abundance of minerals logged in drill core and are not an estimate of metal grade for any interval.
Development of the wider Murchison operation was completed with first gold poured on 1 July 2025, following an investment of approximately $68m during the preceding year.
