Metal Hawk Limited has intersected 9 metres at 12.3 grams per tonne gold from 70 metres, including a high-grade core of 5 metres at 20.7 grams per tonne from 72 metres, in reverse circulation drilling at the Leinster South Project in Western Australia’s Agnew-Lawlers region.

The latest campaign at the 100% owned Leinster South project comprised ten holes for 1,153 metres, following up previous work at the Thylacine prospect. Assay results have been returned for six of the ten holes, confirming shallow, high-grade gold mineralisation within fresh rock at the newly designated Numbat lode.

Hole 26LSRC077 targeted down-plunge extensions of earlier intercepts and delivered the best result to date at the project. The intercept is interpreted to be close to true thickness within a steep northeast-dipping structure.

Other results from the program include hole 26LSRC075, which returned 8 metres at 3.6 grams per tonne gold from 40 metres, including 4 metres at 6.1 grams per tonne from 44 metres using 4-metre composite samples. Hole 26LSRC074 intersected 3 metres at 4.2 grams per tonne gold from 5 metres, including 1 metre at 10.8 grams per tonne from 7 metres.

Mineralisation remains open at depth and along strike. Preparations are under way for drilling to recommence shortly, with additional oriented diamond core drilling planned to refine structural models. Assays for the remaining four holes from the recent campaign are still pending.
