Metals Creek Resources Corp. and Benton Resources Inc. have entered into a purchase agreement with G2B Gold to jointly acquire a 100% interest in two mineral licenses encompassing 30 claim units across the Deer Lake Basin and Parsons Pond areas in Newfoundland.

Under the terms of the agreement, ownership will be split evenly, with 50% going to Benton and 50% to Metals Creek. Consideration for the transaction involves issuing 120,000 common shares of Metals Creek and 82,500 common shares of Benton to G2B Gold on the closing date. The acquisition also carries a 2% net smelter royalty on the properties, half of which can be bought back by the joint venture partners for $1 million. No finders' fees were paid as part of the transaction, which remains conditional on receiving approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. Closing is scheduled for five business days after regulatory approval is granted.

The newly acquired ground consolidates land positions that the companies previously staked to explore for natural white hydrogen and helium.

In parallel with the property acquisition, the partners have completed two regional soil gas sampling programs at the Smoking Gun and Parson's Pond projects. Contractor Rudy Willick and his team at Rudiger Re-Chem collected more than 700 samples using a specialized cordless rotary drill and evacuated vials to avoid ambient air contamination. The samples have been dispatched to a laboratory in Saskatchewan for analysis using gas chromatographs. Assay results from this testing program are anticipated within the next two weeks.
