Middle Island Resources Limited has defined large-scale copper targets across the Jelaca and Oglavak prospects within the Priboj Project in Serbia, supported by infill soil and rock chip assay results.

The infill soil sampling program at the Jelaca Prospect delineated a core copper-in-soil anomaly of more than 200 parts per million covering approximately 900 metres by up to 400 metres, with individual soil assays reaching up to 862 parts per million. Concurrent rock chip sampling across the prospect returned assay results up to 3.21% copper and 26.0 grams per tonne silver from altered and weathered copper-mineralised basalt outcrops.

At the Oglavak Prospect, located 2.5 kilometres west of Jelaca, infill soil sampling defined a parallel anomaly extending 600 metres by up to 400 metres within a broader zone of anomalous copper values. Individual soil assays at Oglavak reached up to 1,614 parts per million copper. The anomaly sits adjacent to a regional lithological boundary separating diabase host units from serpentinised ultramafic rocks.

Additionally, infill soil sampling at the Lunicki area yielded four assay results above 200 parts per million copper, peaking at 663 parts per million, alongside gold assays ranging from 7 to 13 parts per billion.

Middle Island is testing the Priboj licence area for volcanogenic massive sulphide-style copper deposits. The company has designed an initial reverse circulation drilling program to test the Jelaca Prospect, with commencement subject to pending land access approvals. Further soil sampling is also planned across the Jermovac licence, pending its renewal for a second three-year term. The company previously identified large-scale gold targets at the Zabrnjica and Beli Potok prospects within the Priboj Project's Ober exploration licence.
