Midland Exploration Inc. has commenced a follow-up exploration campaign on the Malaco Mountain project in the Labrador Trough region of Quebec, operating in partnership with SOQUEM Inc.

The current field program incorporates a 15-line-kilometre induced polarization geophysical survey alongside systematic prospecting and soil sampling. Field crews are targeting the eastern portion of the project area, covering the mineralized outcrop identified during previous fieldwork, the local sedimentary mudstone unit, and an interpreted fold axis. The data gathered from the geophysics, geology, and geochemistry are intended to define specific targets for subsequent drilling.

Work on the property is conducted under a strategic alliance established between Midland and SOQUEM in November 2021. The partnership covers a broad area of interest across Nunavik spanning the Labrador Trough, the Rachel-Laporte Zone, and the Kuujjuaq Domain, with exploration funded through joint annual budgets shared equally between the two partners.
