Midnight Sun Mining Identifies New Copper Targets at Dumbwa via Magnetic Survey
Midnight Sun Mining Corp. has identified multiple new exploration targets at its Dumbwa copper deposit in Zambia, following a high-resolution ground magnetic survey covering a 2.7 kilometre by 2.5 kilometre area.
The survey, conducted in the northern portion of the Central Mineralized Block, successfully mapped distinct magnetic signatures that correlate with known drill-confirmed copper mineralization. By establishing these signatures, the company has identified new prospective anomalies outside the previously drilled corridor. Preliminary interpretation suggests that two of these newly identified targets—located approximately 1 to 1.2 kilometres east of the main mineralized zone—display magnetic characteristics similar to those observed in areas where previous drilling returned copper intercepts.
The company is currently using these findings to refine its structural model of the deposit, including better identifying late-stage faulting that may offset mineralization. Midnight Sun Mining is now moving to expand the high-resolution survey across the full 20-kilometre copper-in-soil anomaly to further refine targets along parallel structural corridors.
“We are encouraged by how effectively this ground magnetic survey has enhanced our understanding of the structural architecture of the Dumbwa deposit and its relationship to higher-grade mineralized zones. Importantly, the survey has allowed us to ‘fingerprint’ the magnetic signature associated with the Central higher-grade block and identify several analogous targets east of the main mineralized corridor. These targets will be prioritised for future drill testing and provide a compelling opportunity to identify significant additional copper mineralization and further expand Dumbwa’s rapidly growing footprint.”

The company has scheduled Phase 2 exploration drilling to test these newly defined magnetic targets beginning in the third quarter of 2026.
Shares in Midnight Sun Mining are currently trading at $0.64, up 1.59% on the session.
