Mineros Advances Porvenir Project to Detailed Engineering Following Independent Review

Mineros has entered the detailed engineering phase for the development of its 100%-owned Porvenir polymetallic deposit, located within the Hemco Property in Nicaragua, following an independent engineering review of its updated pre-feasibility study.
To ensure effective capital allocation and project execution, Mineros engaged a consortium of engineering firms, including BBA, NCL Ingeniería y Construcción, Mining Plus, and Tanka Engineering, to review the project parameters. The review confirmed the asset's readiness following the updated pre-feasibility study released on March 31, 2026.
The company is running a targeted drilling campaign at Porvenir designed to reduce geological uncertainty, de-risk the first three years of the underground mine plan, and support ongoing metallurgical test work for the processing plant. Mineros already secured the forest harvesting permit required to begin underground mine construction in May 2025.
To de-risk the project timeline ahead of a potential construction decision expected in early 2027, Mineros is preparing to initiate early works on critical-path infrastructure, including site accesses, preliminary earthworks, and surface platforms, in areas where permits are already held.
Regulatory permitting continues to advance. On July 22, 2026, Mineros hosted representatives from the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (MARENA), regional authorities from the North Caribbean Coast Autonomous Region, and the municipal mayor’s office for a site visit. The visit supports approvals for forest management related to the tailings storage and processing plant facilities. Mineros is also developing a hydrological study for an industrial water use concession issued by the National Water Authority. The company expects environmental, forestry, and water-use permits to be issued before the end of 2026.
“Porvenir represents a transformative asset for Mineros, and we are treating its development with the technical and financial rigor it deserves,” stated Daniel Henao, President and Chief Executive Officer. “By partnering with globally recognized engineering firms to validate our technical work, we are ensuring a seamless transition into detailed engineering. The ongoing design optimization of the mine and processing plant, our drilling campaign for both the mine plan and metallurgy, the preparation of early works, and our progress on permitting all underscore our commitment to maintaining momentum and unlocking the full value of the Porvenir district for our shareholders.”

The engineering validation, targeted drilling, and advance permitting work position the company to sequence technical execution ahead of the formal construction decision anticipated in early 2027.
