Miramar Resources Limited has secured firm commitments to raise $1.25 million before costs via a share placement, directing fresh capital into drilling programmes and development activities at the Gidji JV Gold Project located 15 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

The funding package is split between a $1 million tranche sourced from new and existing investors and a $250,000 commitment pledged by company directors. The director-backed portion of the raise remains conditional upon receiving formal shareholder approval.

Miramar holds an 80 percent interest in the Gidji project through its subsidiary Miramar Goldfields Pty Ltd, operating in a joint venture with Thunder Metals Pty Ltd. Management regards the asset as its flagship property, viewing it as the foundational asset around which a standalone gold mining company could be built.

The newly secured funds will directly support active on-the-ground work programmes, including reverse circulation drilling campaigns scheduled for the fourth quarter of calendar year 2026. These upcoming drills will target key bedrock mineralisation at the Marylebone and Lake prospects. In addition, the company has planned resource extensional and infill drilling across the Highway and Marylebone deposits to build upon the project's maiden inferred gold resource.

The targeted drilling will test structural and geochemical anomalies identified across the property. At Lake, the upcoming campaign will follow up on historical bedrock gold intersections with the first reverse circulation drilling conducted at the prospect in over two decades.

“With multiple exciting opportunities at Gidji, we've already made plans to get back on the ground.”

— Marion Bush, Chief Executive Officer

These upcoming work programmes mark the next phase of evaluation for the 80-percent-owned gold asset as the company looks to expand its shallow inventory and locate primary bedrock sources beneath the paleochannel.
