Mont Royal Resources Limited (ASX: MRZ, TSXV: MRZL) is launching a helicopter-supported exploration campaign to assess the gold prospectivity of its Chateaufort property. Located in Quebec, Canada, the area is part of the company's broader Northern Lights project tenement package. The upcoming field program involves collecting approximately 60 till samples designed to identify potential gold signatures through grain dispersion analysis. This work is intended to satisfy annual expenditure requirements while systematically testing the property for new precious metal targets.

The site is positioned along strike from the Eastmain Gold Project, which hosts a significant mineral resource. By using a grid-based approach that accounts for local topography and ice-flow direction, the company aims to better understand the geological potential of these greenstone units.

"The planned till sampling programme is designed to systematically evaluate the gold potential along strike from the Eastmain Gold Mine and associated prospective greenstone units. The gold and base-metal potential of the Eastmain extensions have not been previously tested, and this survey will help refine future exploration priorities across the property."

The logistical mandate includes sample collection, processing, and laboratory analysis, with field operations expected to wrap up in late July 2026. This activity runs concurrently with the company's existing development efforts elsewhere in Quebec. Specifically, Mont Royal is currently balancing these exploration initiatives with the advancement of its 100%-owned Ashram Rare Earth and Fluorspar deposit.

Investors should expect a steady flow of project updates over the coming months. Preliminary data, including handheld XRF results and pebble counts, is scheduled for release in August 2026. A comprehensive final report detailing the gold-grain counts from the sampling program is slated for delivery in the third quarter of 2026.
