Morocco Strategic Minerals Hits 2.57 g/t Au at Tamdghoust
Morocco Strategic Minerals Corporation has extended the known mineralized trend north of the historical Aït Zekri mine by approximately 2,800 metres following a surface rock sampling program at the Tamdghoust exploration permit in Morocco.
The recent program of 48 grab samples across the Tamdghoust permit within the company's Western High Atlas portfolio identified gold-bearing quartz veins locally associated with copper and silver mineralization. Gold values ranged from below 0.05 g/t Au to 2.57 g/t Au, with 14 samples returning grades exceeding 0.20 g/t Au. Highlight gold assays include 2.57 g/t Au in sample TM-GB-0006, 2.33 g/t Au in sample TM-GB-0016, and 1.68 g/t Au in sample TM-GB-0010.

The sampling also returned notable base metal results. Sample TM-GB-0049 yielded 4.27% copper and 193 g/t silver, while sample TM-GB-0048 returned 2.57% copper and 88 g/t silver. Silver values reached up to 143 g/t Ag in sample TM-GB-0008.
The company's Western High Atlas portfolio incorporates the historical Aït Zekri mine and the Tamdghoust exploration permit alongside regional assets including Ouneine, Tanfit, and Ijoukak. Morocco Strategic Minerals is advancing preparations for resource-definition drilling across the portfolio, with site work including rehabilitation of historical workings, dewatering, and access preparation proceeding in parallel with permitting and contractor coordination.
“The Tamadghoust results broaden the gold exploration opportunity north of Aït Zekri and add copper and silver targets to our follow-up program ” said Pierre-Olivier Goulet, Chief Executive Officer. “Historical drilling provides an important foundation for understanding the mineralized system, while our surface work is identifying additional areas to evaluate. Across the High Atlas portfolio, our focus is on advancing the strongest targets toward drilling, with geological work, permitting, contractor coordination and site preparation progressing in parallel.”
— Pierre-Olivier Goulet, Chief Executive Officer
Subject to required authorizations, preparatory work, and contractor availability, Morocco Strategic Minerals is targeting the commencement of initial drilling across the portfolio before the end of 2026.
