Morocco Strategic Minerals Intersects 5.74% Copper and 39 g/t Silver in Ouneine Channel Sampling
Morocco Strategic Minerals Corporation has reported channel sampling results from the Ouneine project, alongside data from Tanfit and Ijoukak across its Western High Atlas District in Morocco.
Systematic channel sampling across underground Gallery A at Ouneine returned 5.74% copper and 39 g/t silver over 2.1 metres in Section 4A, including a higher-grade interval of 13.18% copper and 88 g/t silver over 0.9 metres. Out of 15 sampled sections along Gallery A, eight averaged more than 1.0% copper over lengths from 1.6 to 3.0 metres. Surface sampling at Ouneine yielded six channels exceeding 1.0% copper out of 13, led by 1.55% copper and 199 g/t silver over 2.0 metres.
“The systematic channel sampling at Ouneine is providing the grade-and-width information needed to refine our geological model, while the recent results from Tanfit and Ijoukak reinforce the presence of high-grade copper mineralization at several centres across the district.” — Pierre-Olivier Goulet, President and Chief Executive Officer
The Western High Atlas District properties are held under option agreements with MNF Groupe Inc. covering an 80% interest in five exploitation licences and two research permits, alongside an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Ouneine mine licence. The company is integrating the new data with mapping to refine and rank priority drill targets.

Regional activity includes ongoing exploration by other operators, such as Stellar AfricaGold finalizing a 5,000-metre Phase II drill program and reporting final Phase I assays at its Tichka Est gold project.
“The higher-grade mineralized structures emerging from the current interpretation represent attractive drill targets, and we intend to commence the first phase of drilling as rapidly as practicable, subject to final technical validation, permitting, safe access and contractor availability.” — Pierre-Olivier Goulet, President and Chief Executive Officer
Management intends to advance the best-defined targets toward an initial drilling campaign as the technical work proceeds.
