Mosaic Minerals Corporation has completed the first phase of stripping, mapping, and channel sampling on its Golden Island gold property in Abitibi, Quebec, uncovering new gold zones in the southwestern extension of the main showing.

The surface work revealed the recurrent presence of visible gold in multiple sampling channels. Field crews collected more than 340 channel samples and shipped them for laboratory analysis, with results expected upon receipt and compilation.

The program confirmed a complex structural network consisting of shear veins, extensional veins, and stockwork networks hosted within a mineralized granodiorite matrix over several tens of metres in width. The geological setting features mineralization developing along North-West to South-East and North-East to South-West orientations, fitting the metallogenic model of vein and shear-hosted gold deposits within competent granodiorites.

The North-West to South-East system coincides with a geophysical corridor extending over one kilometre, marked by a high-amplitude magnetic anomaly and a VLF electromagnetic conductor. A high-precision GPS geodetic survey also georeferenced historical trenches, the original exploration shaft, the adit entrance, and historical drill collars across the property.

Mosaic acquired a 100% interest in the Golden Island property, which consists of 31 contiguous claims located in Tiblemont Township, through an agreement announced in November 2025. Following a private placement closing in December 2025 that raised gross proceeds of $700,700, the company stated it was focusing entirely on its exploration efforts at the asset.

The current field work prepared drill pads for an upcoming diamond drilling campaign scheduled for the fall of 2026.

“This recent surface campaign has proven to be a resounding success, and I would like to warmly congratulate our technical team for the quality of the work accomplished,” stated Mr. Jonathan Hamel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mosaic. “The discovery of visible gold and the confirmation of multi-meter gold-bearing structures in a favorable environment greatly reinforce our confidence in the gold potential of the Île d'Or property. The integration of geophysical data (Mag-VLF) with our new field observations will allow us to target priority zones with greater precision ahead of our upcoming diamond drilling campaign scheduled for the fall of 2026.”

Preparation for the upcoming diamond drilling campaign continues as the company awaits assay results from the 340 channel samples.
