Mt Malcolm Rock Chips Return 1.37% Copper At Braiser
Mt Malcolm Mines NL has outlined multiple copper and gold targets across its Malcolm Project near Leonora in Western Australia, highlighted by laboratory rock-chip assay results reaching up to 1.37% copper at the Braiser prospect.
The latest targeting work builds on compiled historical drilling, geological mapping, regolith data, and recent soil and rock-chip sampling across several prospects within the tenement package. At Braiser, ten rock-chip samples from outcrops exhibiting visible malachite and alteration returned elevated copper values up to 1.37% Cu and 0.44 g/t Au. The geochemical signature includes elevated arsenic and cobalt, supporting a potential hydrothermal mineralising system.
"The value of this work is that we are progressively developing regional geological targets that can be tested. At Braiser, recent laboratory rock-chip results of up to approximately 1.37% copper occur within a geological corridor containing historical copper- cobalt occurrences, quartz veining and a recognised mafic-schist stratigraphic contact."

Portable X-ray fluorescence screening across the project was utilized for geological vectoring and target ranking. At the Malcolm South prospect, a multi-element pathfinder anomaly was identified directly over a discrete, high-amplitude aeromagnetic target.
"At Malcolm South, the target is defined by the spatial relationship between a discrete magnetic feature, interpreted structure and geochemical datasets. Importantly, the source of the magnetic anomaly remains unconfirmed and will require drilling."

During the quarter ended 30 June 2026, the company advanced regional exploration through soil sampling programs and planning for resource definition and extension drilling across the wider project area. At Malcolm South, planned follow-up work includes resampling historical aircore spoil and completing an integrated interpretation prior to potential drill testing. Additional early-stage targets including Harry's and Wool Shed are also undergoing evaluation tailored to their respective regolith settings.
