Mustang Minerals Limited has commenced induced polarization geophysical work at its Confusion Hills project in central Nevada to finalise drill targeting for an upcoming first-pass drill program.

Once operations wrap up at Confusion Hills, the geophysical crew will move to the Pilot project to carry out similar survey work to help finalise drill targets across the portfolio. Mustang holds an option to acquire a 60% interest in three copper and gold exploration properties in Nevada—Pilot, Confusion Hills, and Red Ring—pursuant to an agreement with Almadex Minerals Ltd.

An earlier induced polarization geophysical survey completed at the Pilot project in March 2026 identified a chargeability high feature measuring 1.25 kilometres by up to 2.2 kilometres. Both properties are located in central Nevada and are considered prospective for copper-gold porphyry and high sulphidation gold-silver-copper style mineralisation.

Once all geophysical data has been gathered and processed, the company intends to develop a final drill plan for first-pass drilling on each project.

Commenting on the exploration push, Chairman J Duane Poliquin said, “We are excited to be back at work on our Nevada portfolio and look forward to starting our drilling program later this year.” First-pass drilling across the properties is expected to get underway in the autumn.
