Narryer Metals Limited has identified a new scandium discovery at the Pingrup Scandium Project in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, anchored by high-grade historic drilling results reaching up to 765 parts per million scandium oxide over a strike length of approximately 1.7 kilometres.

A review of historic aircore drilling data across the Greenfire Prospect outlined 31 significant scandium intersections grading above 100 parts per million scandium oxide. Mineralisation sits primarily within saprolitic clays at shallow depths between 12 and 42 metres. Standout intercepts include 9 metres grading 430 parts per million scandium oxide from 15 metres in hole PNAC0019, which featured a 3-metre sub-interval at 765 parts per million from 18 metres, and 12 metres grading 214 parts per million from 21 metres in hole PNAC0023.

Historic assay data was generated using an aqua regia digest and mass spectrometry finish, a method that can potentially underestimate scandium content compared to standard XRF fusion techniques. The 78-square-kilometre project also contains previous drill intercepts of rare earth mineralisation, including 18 metres at 1,767 parts per million total rare earth oxides from 15 metres in hole PNAC0099.

The Pingrup Project is 100% owned by Narryer Metals and sits 180 kilometres northeast of the company's Rocky Gully Sc-REE-Ga Project. Both assets share similar regolith clay-hosted settings within the Corrigin Tectonic Zone of the Yilgarn Craton.

To advance the asset, Narryer Metals plans to conduct aircore drilling at Pingrup to delineate higher-grade zones. The company is also progressing ongoing metallurgical testwork at Rocky Gully, with an update intended for release in the near future.
