Nations Royalty Reports C$2.21 Million in Q1 Revenue and Maiden Net Profit

Nations Royalty Corp. generated record quarterly royalty revenue of C$2.21 million for the three months ended June 30, 2026, marking the company's first profitable quarter since inception with net income of C$0.84 million.
The revenue total represents a 1,058% increase compared to C$0.19 million in Q1 Fiscal 2026 and a 316% rise from C$0.53 million in Q4 Fiscal 2026.
The revenue expansion was driven primarily by the producing Brucejack royalty. The Brucejack mine transitioned to the 13% net revenue mineral tax regime under British Columbia's Mineral Tax Act beginning in calendar 2026, replacing the previous 2% net current proceeds tax that applied in prior years. Nations Royalty anticipates future payments from Brucejack will remain subject to this regime.
As Canada's first majority Indigenous-owned publicly listed royalty company, Nations Royalty united First Nations and Indigenous groups to build its portfolio. The company held C$16.3 million in cash and cash equivalents with no long-term debt as of June 30, 2026. Subsequent to quarter-end on August 5, 2026, the company received an additional C$1.16 million royalty payment from Newmont Corporation relating to Brucejack for the 2025 calendar year.
In the wider portfolio, Cambria Gold Mines Inc. continues to advance the Premier Gold Project and Red Mountain Gold Deposit, with mill commissioning and production targeted in late 2027 or early 2028.
“We generated greater than tenfold year-over-year revenue growth and over four times our previous quarter's revenue, leading to our first quarter of positive earnings. This demonstrates the scalability of our business model and highlights the value of a to-date hidden segment of the royalty market - Indigenous royalty payments,” said Derrick Pattenden, President, CEO and Director of Nations Royalty.
