Neometals Hits 6m at 1.56% Copper in Rinaldi Reverse Circulation Drilling
Neometals Ltd has received initial assay results from reverse circulation drilling at the Rinaldi copper prospect within its 100% owned Barrambie Project in Western Australia, returning an interval of 6 metres at 1.56% copper and 20.8 grams per tonne silver from 101 metres downhole in hole 26RCRC009.
The July reverse circulation program completed four holes for 388 metres at Rinaldi. From the total drill samples collected, an expedited subset of 33 selected samples was prioritised for laboratory analysis based on visual indicators of potential mineralisation, such as copper minerals and associated quartz veining. Assay results from this subset also included a 5-metre zone grading 0.43% copper from 31 metres in hole 26RCRC007.
Two holes in the program were discontinued prematurely due to water ingress. This included hole 26RCRC006, which was designed to test the T2 dipole-dipole induced polarisation target. Geological logging of the abandoned hole identified a broad interval of visually estimated pyrite and quartz veining, alongside a one-metre interval of chalcopyrite from 108 metres. Neometals cautions that visual estimates of mineral abundance are not a proxy for laboratory assay results.
“The assay results confirm that primary copper sulphide mineralisation continues at depth beneath the historic Rinaldi workings, with encouraging grades and widths reported from the completed holes. We are also encouraged by the preliminary observations from the T2 drilling, which was terminated prematurely due to water ingress. We plan to return with a diamond rig in September to properly test this exciting target. In parallel, we are planning detailed magnetic and geochemical programs to better define the structures hosting the Rinaldi mineralisation and to advance the exploration potential of this prospect.”

Neometals plans to execute a diamond drill tail in September 2026 to extend hole 26RCRC006 to its designed depth and properly test the T2 dipole-dipole induced polarisation target. Routine analysis for copper, gold and silver on the remaining drill samples from the Rinaldi prospect is also underway.
