Nevada King Gold Corp. (NKG) has reported new gold intercepts from its East Ridge Target, located at the Atlanta project in eastern Nevada. The results stem from the company's ongoing reconnaissance program, which utilizes Rotary Air Blast (RAB) drilling to test shallow targets down to 30 metres. Highlights include hole AT26ERB-16, which returned 4.68 g/t Au over 7.3 metres, and hole AT26ERB-42, which intercepted 1.00 g/t Au over 26.8 metres. Both holes bottomed in mineralization, suggesting the zones remain open at depth.

The discovery sits immediately east of the current Atlanta pit, outside the defined resource area. By identifying potential mineralized fault zones that were previously obscured, the company aims to convert what was once considered waste rock into mineable material, potentially improving the project’s overall strip ratio.

Nevada King currently employs a dual-rig strategy to advance its regional exploration. While the RAB rigs focus on rapid, shallow reconnaissance, the company is simultaneously executing a 40,000-metre Reverse Circulation (RC) drill program.

The next phase of exploration is tied to the approval of the fifth modification to the company's Plan of Operations (PoO Mod 5). Once the Bureau of Land Management grants this permit, the company will be authorized to access 78 RC drill sites and 404 RAB drill sites across the property. Following this approval, management intends to initiate a deeper RC drill program in the second half of 2026 to further test the continuity of these high-grade results.
