New Break Resources Ltd. has completed an additional 1,996 metres of drilling across 10 holes at its 100% owned Moray gold project in Ontario, returning assay highlights that include 5.28 g/t Au over 11.2 metres.

The summer drilling program tested the Zavitz gold zone located 49 km south of Timmins. Hole NBR-26-27 intersected the 11.2-metre mineralization interval from 160.3 metres downhole, including a higher-grade sub-interval of 26.50 g/t gold over 0.7 metres. Meanwhile, hole NBR-26-28 returned 3.95 g/t gold over 14.0 metres starting from 150.0 metres. Assays for the remaining four holes, covering 1,198 metres, are still pending.

The latest results validate previous interpretations that grade-widths improve at greater vertical depths within the system. The ongoing work forms part of New Break's planned 10,000-metre 2026 drilling campaign at the property, which builds upon the initial discovery of the Zavitz zone during the company's 2025 maiden drilling program.

Operations are scheduled to resume in early September following a brief crew break. During the shutdown, the company expects to receive assays for the four remaining completed drillholes.

For the remainder of the year, planned drilling will shift to the southeast to test down-dip extensions and evaluate gold mineralization along the syenite contact. New Break also intends to test several high-priority targets identified from a 2024 induced polarization survey that are more accessible during warmer months.

President Michael Farrant noted that successful drilling in the Zavitz gold zone sets the stage to test other prospective, undrilled target areas that could expand the overall potential of the Moray property.
