New Frontier Minerals Limited has identified the Eldorado Prospect as a high-priority follow-up target within the NWQ Copper Project in north-west Queensland, following a systematic review of the company’s 977-square-kilometre tenement package.

The prospectivity review ranked Eldorado second among more than 20 identified targets across the tenement package. Surface geochemistry has outlined at least three interpreted zones of anomalous copper mineralisation across a 5-kilometre north-east trending structural corridor, with rock chip sampling returning values of up to 5,400 ppm copper.

The Big One Deposit serves as New Frontier Minerals' flagship and highest-priority target within the NWQ Copper Project, hosting an Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 2.1 million tonnes at 1.1% copper.

“The latest review highlights the significant exploration opportunity that exists across our NWQ Copper Project. While Big One remains our most advanced asset, Eldorado has emerged as a compelling priority target, supported by a substantial copper geochemical footprint and a favourable structural setting.” — Gerrard Hall, Chairman

To advance the prospect, New Frontier Minerals plans to carry out field reconnaissance work, including ground geophysical surveys, to refine and prioritise drill-ready targets at Eldorado.

In parallel, New Frontier Minerals collaborates with strategic partner Austral Resources to evaluate potential near-term development pathways utilizing the Mt Kelly Processing Facility for the NWQ Copper Project.

“Our next step is to advance field reconnaissance at Eldorado to refine potential drill targets. At the same time, we continue to progress the Mining Lease Application at Big One, providing New Frontier with a clear strategy, advancing our most developed copper asset while systematically unlocking the broader exploration potential of this highly prospective landholding.” — Gerrard Hall, Chairman

Work continues as New Frontier Minerals is progressing the Mining Lease Application for the Big One Deposit through the government regulatory approval process.
