NexGold Mining Corp. has intersected high-grade gold mineralization, including 3.08 g/t gold over 17.0 metres in drill hole GL-26-026, as part of an ongoing diamond drilling campaign at the Goldlund Deposit in Northwestern Ontario.

The latest results encompass 4,686 metres of diamond drilling across 11 holes, designated GL-26-020 to GL-26-030B. The program was designed to test the extension of mineralization within Zone 4 of the deposit, situated near the northeastern section of the open pit Mineral Resource.

Additional notable intercepts from the batch include 84.30 g/t gold over 1.0 metre from 287.0 metres in drill hole GL-22, along with 4.80 g/t gold over 5.6 metres in drill hole GL-25. Drill hole GL-20 returned 1.85 g/t gold over 12.5 metres from 262.5 metres, while GL-21 intersected 1.44 g/t gold over 15.3 metres. Reported intervals reflect drilled core lengths, with true widths estimated at 50 to 75 percent of the interval length.

Following the completion of an initial 25,000-metre drill program, NexGold has elected to expand the campaign by an additional 10,000 metres to reach approximately 35,000 metres total. Drilling is expected to continue through the fall of 2026 to further evaluate the continuity and distribution of mineralization at depth.

The Goliath Gold Complex comprises the Goliath, Goldlund, and Miller deposits located in Northwestern Ontario. In June 2026, NexGold entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Eagle Lake First Nation and Lac Seul First Nation, establishing a framework for collaboration regarding the complex.

“The results received to date provide information that may be considered in future Mineral Resource evaluations and have the potential to support future updates to Mineral Resource classifications at the Goldlund Deposit. Based on the results received to date and the remaining exploration potential within the deposit, we have elected to expand the current program by an additional 10,000 metres of diamond drilling, with work expected to continue through the fall of 2026.”

The company plans to incorporate the current drill data into future Mineral Resource evaluations, supporting ongoing technical studies as assessment of development opportunities across the complex proceeds.
