NexMetals Extends Selebi Main High-Grade Trend to 1.45 Kilometres with Visual Sulphides in Hole SMD-26-219

NexMetals Mining Corp. has intersected multiple intervals of massive sulphide mineralization in surface drill hole SMD-26-219 at the Selebi Main deposit in Botswana, extending the high-grade trend by 450 metres to a total length of 1.45 kilometres.

Drill hole SMD-26-219 reached 1,958.5 metres testing the down-plunge extension within the Flexure Zone, outside the 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate. The hole encountered a 20.0-metre mineralized interval with 1.6 metres of massive sulphides in the Main Zone, alongside a 7.55-metre lower zone interval including 6.60 metres of massive sulphides.

The lower zone intercept correlates with hole SMD-26-213, which is located 175 metres along strike, while the hole itself sits approximately 450 metres down-plunge of SMD-25-205. Borehole electromagnetic surveys indicate that the conductor associated with the lower zone continues down-dip and down-plunge toward Selebi North. Assays for all intervals in SMD-26-219 are pending.

“While assays are still pending, we're extremely encouraged by the thickness and continuity of the sulphide mineralization we're seeing in SMD-26-219. Together with our previously reported assay results, this hole continues to strengthen our confidence that we're defining a significant mineralized trend well beyond the 2024 MRE. It's particularly exciting because we have reached the cut-off date for the 2026 MRE, meaning this latest hole represents upside beyond the upcoming resource update.”

Because SMD-26-219 was completed subsequent to the July 31 resource cut-off date, the hole will not be included in the upcoming 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate, which remains on track for completion in the third quarter of 2026. To support ongoing exploration and future resource growth, NexMetals has engaged TECT Geological Consulting to develop an integrated three-dimensional geological and structural model for Selebi North and Selebi Main.
