Nexus Minerals (NXM) has concluded its reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Wallbrook project, marking a key step toward the delivery of a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Branches prospect. The final tranche of assays from 37 holes, totaling 3,506 metres, has provided the geological data necessary to define the orientation, geometry, and continuity of the gold-mineralised system.

Significant intercepts reported include 13 metres at 2g/t gold, which contains a higher-grade zone of 1 metre at 7.63g/t gold. Other notable results from the program include 15 metres at 1.28g/t gold and 18 metres at 1.06g/t gold. The data confirms the system's continuity and expands the prospective footprint.

"With assay reporting now complete at Branches, the prospect is well positioned alongside Clement and Payns prospects to contribute to the updated Wallbrook Mineral Resource Estimate."

"Encouragingly, the strongest result of this program came from the southern end of the prospect, and the mineralised host sequence has been intercepted a further 350 metres to the south. This leaves the Branches trend open for future work."
— Andy Tudor, Managing Director

The company has now completed assay reporting for three distinct prospects within the project area, namely Clement, Payns, and Branches, with a total of 149 RC holes and 15,667 metres of drilling reported. These datasets are currently being integrated to support the upcoming resource evaluation for the broader project area. The southern extension of the mineralised host sequence provides potential for future follow-up work as the geological team refines its understanding of the system's depth and strike.

Looking ahead, the development timeline remains active for the next two months. Nexus Minerals expects to receive the final assay results from its separate extensional drilling program at the Crusader-Templar prospect in August. These results, combined with the data from the three recently reported prospects, will underpin the updated multi-prospect Mineral Resource Estimate. The company confirms that the release of this updated estimate remains on track for completion before the end of the September quarter. Once finalised, this resource estimate will provide a consolidated view of the gold mineralisation identified across the different prospects, helping to clarify the economic potential and future development pathway for the project. The ongoing work at the site demonstrates a systematic approach to defining the geometry of the gold system across the tenement package.
