Ni-Co Energy Starts 7,500-Metre Drilling at Kremer Project
Ni-Co Energy Inc. has commenced drilling the first hole of an approximately 7,500-metre exploration program at its 100%-owned Kremer nickel-copper-cobalt project within ZEC Lavigne in Québec.
The two-phase campaign utilizes a single drill rig to test electromagnetic conductors, surface sulphide occurrences, and magnetic and gravity responses across an approximately 8-kilometre prospective corridor. The initial hole targets Kremer-2, an area southeast of Kremer-1 that represents the company's highest-priority untested target. Kremer-2 was previously evaluated solely through surface prospecting and grab sampling, with no prior drilling.

Phase 1 of the program focuses on principal electromagnetic conductors at Kremer-2, while Phase 2 will involve closely spaced drilling at Kremer-1 to evaluate true widths, geometry and zone continuity.

The approximately 7,500-metre program represents the first systematic subsurface evaluation of part of the Kremer corridor. It will test several targets at Kremer-2 and help better define Kremer-1. This program is not designed to test the full potential of the project: several conductors, extensions and areas within the approximately 8 km prospective corridor, including Kremer-3, will remain to be evaluated afterward. Ni-Co Energy intends to release assay results from the drill program once they have been received, verified and approved.
