Nine Mile Metals Intersects 42.85 Metres of VMS Mineralization at Wedge

Nine Mile Metals Ltd. has intersected two distinct volcanogenic massive sulphide zones totaling 42.85 metres of mineralization in drill hole DDH WD-26-07 at the Wedge project in New Brunswick.

Drilled to a depth of 224 metres from the southwestern edge of the existing drill pattern, the hole returned an upper zone spanning 9.85 metres from 80.15 to 90.00 metres depth, grading 2.10% copper equivalent with high-grade silver and zinc. The lower zone spans 33.00 metres from 105.00 to 138.00 metres depth, averaging 2.12% copper equivalent with increased copper, silver, and gold. Higher-grade intervals within the sequence include a 24.00-metre section averaging 2.77% copper equivalent and a 9.20-metre interval grading 4.14% copper equivalent.

The Wedge project is an historic mining asset where Nine Mile Metals has conducted sequential drilling campaigns since 2024 to test extensions beneath previous underground workings.

“This was our first hole in the southwest and it did not disappoint. With solid Cu mineralization in addition to both gold and silver, this bodes well for expanding our resource in the western portion of the Wedge. As seen in the figures below, this is classic, pyritic VMS. Except for minor banding and local glimpses of chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena in the drill core, it is mostly non-descript and requires assaying to define its value. As seen in Table 1, there is variation in the distribution of mineralization, with Ag, Au and Zn dominant in the Upper Zone while the Lower Zone has increased Ag and Cu. This is not unusual as most systems show variability along both strike and depth. We look forward to reporting on additional drill holes from this location as we update the database for the 3D model.”

The company plans to complete additional drill holes in the western portion of the deposit as part of its ongoing 2026 drill program. Assay data from the current and upcoming holes will be incorporated into 3D modelling work managed by Apex Geoscience, directed toward an updated NI 43-101 technical report and a future mineral resource estimate.
