NioBay Metals Inc. hosted mayors and municipal representatives from the Maria-Chapdelaine RCM for an open-house visit at the Crevier niobium and tantalum project in Québec.

Elected officials toured site facilities, met with exploration teams, and received operational updates on the critical minerals asset. The visit also included briefings on market conditions and upcoming milestones for the development-stage project.

NioBay holds an 80.2% interest in the Crevier project, situated on the Nitassinan ancestral territory of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh First Nation. Project advancement remains conditional on successfully navigating the various stages required to develop a mining operation.

To support that progress, NioBay is processing a 140-metric-ton bulk sample and optimizing hydrometallurgical processes for niobium and tantalum oxide production. This operational work builds on recent purification results achieving purity levels of approximately 99.6% for niobium oxide and 99.98% for tantalum oxide.

Work at the site forms part of ongoing efforts to advance the deposit, located approximately 50 kilometres north of Girardville.
