NiobiumX Appoints Erik Sehn To Board

NiobiumX Mining Inc. has appointed professional geologist Erik Sehn as a director, effective September 17, 2026.
Sehn brings nearly ten years of mineral exploration experience in Canada, having served as Vice President of Exploration for F4 Uranium Corp. and holding senior roles with F3 Uranium Corp. At F3 Uranium, he contributed to discovering the JR and Tetra zones at the Patterson Lake North project in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin, alongside work at the Triple R deposit.
He joins as NiobiumX prepares to advance its Shipshaw Property, a 48-claim, 2,686-hectare carbonatite-hosted property in Quebec that currently lacks a mineral resource or reserve estimate.
The appointment accompanies the resignation of Dr. Terrance G. Owen as a director, also effective September 17. Owen served through the company's acquisition of Shipshaw and its corporate transition from Arctic Fox Lithium Corp. to NiobiumX Mining Inc. in July 2026.
Sehn will advise the board on a two-phase technical program starting with relocating and re-assaying historical drill core for total rare earth elements alongside magnetic modelling, before moving to drill testing.
“Erik has taken targets from geophysics through drilling to discovery in the Athabasca Basin. That is the sequence in front of us at Shipshaw... We welcome him to the Board,” said Kirby Renton, President and Chief Executive Officer.
The technical program will use recommendations from the property's technical report to guide initial exploration work across the Quebec claim package.
