Nobel Resources Plans 3,200-Metre Reverse Circulation Drill Programme at Cuprita

Nobel Resources Corp. has outlined an initial 3,200-metre reverse circulation drilling programme at its flagship Cuprita copper porphyry project in northern Chile, following geophysical results that expanded the target area.

The company received final pole-dipole induced polarisation survey results from Quantec, featuring a 3D inversion model that highlighted a large, continuous chargeability anomaly. The anomaly extends south and east of previous exploration, placing the footprint at approximately one kilometre by three kilometres.

Previous drilling at Cuprita relied on diamond core focused on anomaly margins. The upcoming campaign marks a shift to reverse circulation drilling designed to test the core of the mineralised system at depth.

Alongside Cuprita, Nobel is acquiring exploration permits for initial field follow-up at its Janett project, located 16 kilometres north-northeast of Antofagasta. Janett features past-producing small-scale operations within the coastal stratabound copper belt. Historical vendor channel sampling across the southern wall of the Janett open pit returned an average grade of 0.79% copper over 55 metres. Initial work will encompass geological mapping, geochemistry and geophysical surveys.

Meanwhile, regional activity includes Norfolk Metals Limited reporting a JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate of 11.8 million tonnes grading 2.88% copper equivalent at the Ciclón copper project on June 19, 2026.
