Noronex Limited (NRX) has released the final assay results from its recent drilling campaigns across Namibia and Botswana, marking the conclusion of its current regional evaluation phase. The company reported findings from a 7,112-meter reverse circulation drilling program at the Powerline Copper Project in Namibia, alongside initial scout drilling and gravity surveys conducted at the Cgae Cgae project in Botswana. These efforts were carried out under earn-in agreements with a wholly owned subsidiary of South32 Limited, which continues to support the technical direction of the exploration programs.

At the Powerline project, drilling focused on several domal targets, identifying silver mineralisation associated with copper. Highlights from the final holes included an intercept of 28 meters at 0.30% copper and 26g/t silver at the Zambinda South target. While drilling at the Zambinda western fold closure proved less successful in defining high-grade zones, the integrated geological and geophysical data have provided the company with a refined model for structural and stratigraphic controls across the region.

Following a comprehensive technical review with its partner, Noronex is now coordinating the next phase of work. Planning for the 2026/27 cycle includes a 3,000-meter drill program scheduled to commence in the December quarter. This upcoming activity will target key Namibian sites including Fortuna, Rosy Copper, and Humpback South, while also incorporating 500 meters of planned drilling at the Cgae Cgae project.

The integrated datasets from the completed gravity surveys have helped the technical team map concealed basement architecture and identify specific structural corridors. By consolidating these findings, the company aims to optimize its future drill targeting within the Kalahari Copper Belt. These results confirm the path forward as the team moves into a more systematic phase of exploration designed to test these newly defined priority targets across both jurisdictions.
