Norsemont Mining Inc. has expanded its land position at the Choquelimpie gold-silver-copper project in Chile, securing an additional 3,291 hectares through a new staking program. This increase brings the total project footprint to 9,048 hectares, providing the company with expanded control over prospective geological trends identified by its technical team.

The new claims were strategically selected to capture extensions of known mineralized zones. Norsemont noted that the added ground benefits from established access corridors and existing infrastructure, which are expected to create more efficient pathways for future exploration and project development.

The company is currently executing an ongoing diamond drilling program at the site. This exploration work remains a key focus as the team works toward a significant upcoming regulatory milestone: the planned filing of an Environmental Impact Declaration for Choquelimpie, which is targeted for December 2026. Norsemont anticipates receiving and releasing further assay results from the current drilling as they become available.
