North Arrow Minerals (NAR) has released encouraging assay results from its second round of reverse circulation drilling at the Kraaipan Gold Project in southern Botswana. The latest program targeted two distinct zones, AE and AF, confirming that gold mineralization remains consistent within thick, altered banded iron formations. Drilling at Target AE successfully traced mineralization along a 260-meter strike length, while Target AF returned results across 450 meters. Notable intercepts from the campaign include 27 meters grading 1.11 g/t gold at Target AE and a higher-grade intercept of 9 meters at 4.04 g/t gold at Target AF.

These findings represent a measurable improvement in grade compared to earlier exploration. Rotation 1 drilling earlier this year at the nearby Target A yielded intercepts such as 9 meters at 1.23 g/t gold and 7 meters at 1.99 g/t gold. By comparison, the new data at Target AF demonstrates higher-grade potential within the same structural system. The company is currently executing a US$2.3 million 2026 exploration program, which is designed to test regional opportunities under Kalahari sand cover. Mapping at Target AE has also identified a new, undrilled gold-bearing zone in the hanging wall, which returned surface grab samples as high as 6.7 g/t gold.

"Rotation 2 drilling has confirmed what our surface work suggested: Targets AE and AF host wide, continuous zones of gold mineralization in altered banded iron formation."

— Eira Thomas, Chief Executive Officer

The market response to these exploration results has been notably strong. Shares of North Arrow Minerals are currently trading at $0.215, representing a single-day increase of 26.47%, having surged by more than 40% at various points earlier in the trading session. This investor interest arrives as the company pushes forward with its systematic evaluation of the greenstone belt. The current strategy involves integrating geophysical and structural data with ongoing drill results to refine future target generation, with a focus on understanding the relationships between quartz veining, sulphidation, and silicification to guide more intensive drilling phases.

North Arrow is now advancing its next phase of testing with a two-stage Rotation 3 regional drilling program. The first stage of this work commenced in mid-June, with a second stage tentatively scheduled to begin in mid-July. By utilizing vertical reverse circulation holes, the team intends to penetrate the Kalahari cover to sample the upper bedrock. This approach, combined with ongoing soil sampling and geological mapping, forms the backbone of the company’s current operational cadence as it seeks to extend the known mineralized footprint at Kraaipan. The project remains a primary focus, as the company works to unlock potential across the 60-kilometer-long greenstone belt, which is noted for its structural similarities to established regional gold operations located to the south. The technical team continues to evaluate the structural setting of the mineralization to optimize the locations for future reverse circulation and potential core drilling programs.
