Northern Discovery Metals Inc. has scheduled a targeted follow-up exploration program at the Vent Copper Property on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, slated to begin in September 2026.

Field activities will include geological mapping, prospecting and surface sampling across priority zones to test whether hydrothermal mineralization is structurally controlled within altered Karmutsen volcanic rocks near Jurassic Island Intrusions. Data from the September program will be integrated into the dataset to update the geological model and rank targets. Where surface results warrant, Northern Discovery may deploy focused ground geophysics to refine target geometry and support drill planning.

“Vent continues to deliver encouraging results, and this program is a deliberate, cost-effective step toward unlocking that potential,” stated Jared Suchan, Chief Executive Officer of Northern Discovery. “By examining whether the strongest responses are continuous and tied to clear geological controls, we aim to focus our resources on the areas most likely to host meaningful mineralization and move the best of them toward drill-ready targets. It's designed as a focused, low-cost way to advance our understanding of the property.”

Earlier in the year, Northern Discovery closed a non-brokered private placement on July 2, 2026, issuing 4,900,000 units at $0.25 per unit for gross proceeds of $1,225,000.

Activity across the wider district includes early exploration results reported by nearby explorer Sasquatch Resources Corp. on July 24, 2026, from its Alberni Claims, including copper sampling at Golden Eagle and Star of the West.
