Northmin Corporation Intersects 27.45 Metres Grading 10.08% BaSO4 in Tynagh Drilling Re-Analysis

Northmin Corporation has returned additional barium assay results from its initial two hard-rock drill holes at the Tynagh Project in the Republic of Ireland, highlighting broad barite mineralization alongside previously reported base metal intersections.

Re-analysis of 89 mineralized sample pulps from the first two holes using XRF methods demonstrated that fine-grained barite is associated with base metal mineralization within the Waulsortian Reef Limestone and the Lower Muddy Limestone. Drill hole 3615-26-07 intersected 27.45m grading 10.08% BaSO4 from 90.55m, which includes a higher-grade interval of 10.45m grading 21.4% BaSO4 from the same depth.

Additional barite results from hole 3615-26-06 confirmed 3.6m grading 9.03% BaSO4 from 127.0m and 3.5m grading 9.06% BaSO4 from 150.5m within the Waulsortian reef limestone. Barite was also identified within the sub-reef Lower Muddy Limestone, returning 6.4m grading 4.41% BaSO4 in hole 3615-26-07 alongside previously reported copper intercepts, and 9.15m grading 3.22% BaSO4 in hole 3615-26-06.

The company previously reported base metal results for the first two drill holes on July 13, 2026. Northmin has since completed a further two diamond drill holes with a third underway as part of its 10-hole hard rock exploration program on the mine site, with all holes scheduled for completion by late September 2026.

In addition to the hard rock program, Northmin has completed drilling at seven sites on the West Tailings Pond and three sites on the East Tailings Pond using a Soilmec geotechnical rig to obtain fresh samples for metallurgical testing. The West Tailings Pond holds an inferred mineral resource of 2.69 million tonnes grading 3.56% zinc, 2.68% lead, 0.23% copper, 49 g/t silver, and 28.8% BaSO4, while the East Tailings Pond contains indicated mineral resources.

The company intends to use the new tailings samples to advance the next phase of testwork on its Silver Tailings Recycling Project and expects the data to support upgrading a portion of the West Pond inferred resource to the indicated category.
