Nova Minerals Limited has confirmed the physical arrival of approximately 500 tons of processing and refining equipment at Port MacKenzie, Alaska, advancing construction of its planned antimony processing and refining facility ahead of schedule.

The delivery follows a barge shipment from Seattle that departed on August 26 and arrived in Cook Inlet on September 6. The shipment comprises more than 40 shipping containers and multiple oversized loads carrying crushing, ore sorting, milling, flotation, and refining machinery. The project is backed by a US$43.4 million award from the U.S. Department of War under Title III of the Defense Production Act.

By acquiring a recently decommissioned processing facility in North America rather than fabricating new components, Nova Minerals secured meaningful capital cost savings and accelerated its development timeline, supporting plans to target first production in 2027.

The Port MacKenzie facility is designed to process stibnite-bearing material to produce antimony trisulfide. Its modular layout provides operational flexibility to scale up and potentially expand into additional saleable products, including antimony metal and antimony trioxide, to meet evolving market requirements.
