Nova Minerals Corp hosted nearly 100 industry and government leaders for an Industry Day at Port MacKenzie in Alaska, highlighting its planned antimony processing and refining operation as a key anchor tenant for the district's emerging industrial hub.

The company secured a land use permit for 42.81 acres of commercial industrial zoned land at Port MacKenzie in October 2025 for the proposed antimony refinery. The development is supported by a US$43.4 million award from the U.S. Department of War under Title III of the Defense Production Act, with the operation targeting first production in 2027 to help establish a domestic supply chain in the United States.

During the event, participants toured key port facilities and reviewed infrastructure initiatives designed to support long-term regional development, including the West Susitna Access Road and the Port MacKenzie Rail Extension.

MatSu Borough officials noted that recent deliveries, including approximately 44 containers of equipment brought in over the Labor Day weekend, have established physical progress at the pilot project site as the district advances its broader logistics and utility networks.
