Nuvau Minerals has intersected 17.37 grams per tonne gold over 2.40 metres within a broader 165-metre interval during ongoing summer drilling at the Thundermine target within its Matagami mining district property in Québec.

Hole TH-26-11 was collared approximately 50 metres shallower than hole TH-26-08 and halfway toward historical drilling, providing a new pierce point that supports the structural continuity of the mineralized system. The intercept occurred within the same altered tonalitic host and quartz-tourmaline vein array encountered across the current drill campaign.

The company controls a 1,380-square-kilometre land package across the district, with exploration funded by a $21 million financing completed earlier in the year. Assays for six additional drill holes from the summer program are currently pending, and the mineralized system remains open along the interpreted southeast trend and at depth.

Nuvau is also advancing a Preliminary Economic Assessment study for the property to incorporate mineral resource updates and evaluate the potential restart of the Bracemac-McLeod Mine.

Remember, this Thundermine property has not been systematically tested for over 40 years, and orogenic systems of this style in the Abitibi are known for their significant vertical persistence. Thundermine remains open along the interpreted trend to the southeast, as shown in our previously announced diagrams 1 , and at depth, with assays from six holes still pending.”
