Oceanic Iron Ore Corp. has appointed Pierre-Philippe Dupont as Senior Vice President of External Affairs and ESG, effective October 15, 2026. Dupont will oversee permitting, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability initiatives for the Hopes Advance Project in northern Québec.

Dupont brings two decades of experience guiding major mining developments through regulatory frameworks. His background includes directing environmental and social impact assessments and leading permitting strategies for Canadian nickel developments.

The appointment supports ongoing technical and environmental work at the Labrador Trough iron ore asset. Oceanic resumed environmental baseline studies and the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment process for Hopes Advance in July 2026, advancing field investigations across terrestrial, marine, and human environments to support future regulatory filings.
