OD6 Metals Limited (ASX: OD6) has reported robust assay results from expanded channel sampling at the Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada. The data confirms the presence of broad, high-grade mineralisation at surface, bolstering the company’s confidence in the deposit's geological potential. Standout intervals include 50 metres at 63.9% CaF2 in the southeast wall and 22 metres at 70.7% CaF2 in the northwest wall. Across 118 individual channel samples, the company recorded an average grade of 64.4% CaF2, with 84% of those samples grading above 50% CaF2.

The results point to a large, replacement-style deposit rather than the narrow veins traditionally associated with the region. By demonstrating consistent, wide, near-surface mineralisation, these findings support the feasibility of utilizing open-pit mining techniques.

"These channel sampling results represent another outstanding outcome for OD6 and further validate the scale, exceptional grade, width and geological potential of the Horseshoe deposit within the Quinn Fluorspar Project."

— Brett Hazelden, Managing Director

OD6 is executing a staged development strategy at the project, which aims to leverage the high-grade nature of the resource to establish a low-complexity pathway toward early-stage production of Metspar products. Management is concurrently advancing metallurgical programs focused on refining material into premium Acidspar specifications, which are in high demand for applications such as battery technology and defense.

The mineralised zone at the site remains open in several directions, providing potential for future expansion. Moving forward, the company intends to complete geological modelling and refine its approach to upcoming field activities. These operational plans include the receipt of pending assay results from the broader project area, as well as the preparation and execution of a maiden drilling program to further delineate the extent of the deposit.
