OD6 Metals Limited (ASX: OD6) has completed the acquisition of the Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada, USA, through its wholly owned subsidiary, US Fluorspar LLC. The transaction grants the company 100% legal and beneficial interest in 226 mining claims covering approximately 1,890 hectares. Total consideration for the deal amounted to A$200,000, split evenly between cash and the issuance of 700,706 ordinary shares to the vendors. An additional 1,500,000 shares were issued to Sapphire Beginnings Capital Pty Ltd as final facilitation consideration.

"What began as an acquisition opportunity has rapidly evolved into what we believe is a district-scale critical minerals project."

— Brett Hazelden, Managing Director

With the acquisition finalized, the company is shifting its focus toward systematic resource definition and project development. Current technical work includes processing pending assay results and advancing metallurgical studies, which aim to confirm the potential for producing premium-grade Acidspar and Metspar products. These efforts are designed to support the project's long-term objective of becoming a domestic supplier of fluorspar, a material currently classified as a critical mineral by the United States due to its 100% import reliance.

The developer is also moving to solidify its operational footprint by advancing a broader permitting strategy. Key upcoming catalysts include the lodgement of applications for bulk sample permits, which will facilitate further testing, and the preparation of a maiden drilling program. These activities represent the next phase of the project's advancement as the team integrates geological mapping and structural interpretation into their resource modeling.
