OD6 Metals Delivers Materially Higher Fluorspar Grades in Horseshoe Channel Re-Assays
OD6 Metals has released re-assayed channel sampling results from the Horseshoe Prospect at the Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada, confirming an average uplift of 12.9% in calcium fluoride grades across the program.
The re-assays supersede initial results reported on 8 July 2026. According to ALS Global, the original F-ELE82 analytical method can exhibit a negative bias when applied to high-grade fluorspar matrices. OD6 submitted residual pulps for re-analysis using the F-XRF24 fusion technique, which uses a glass bead and high-powered X-ray fluorescence. The company will exclusively utilize the F-XRF24 method for all future samples.
The updated assay program returned standout intercepts across expanded in-pit channel sampling, led by 50m @ 79.3% CaF2 on the southeast wall, previously reported at 63.9%. Additional high-grade intervals include 27m @ 65.1% CaF2 in the north pit, a combined 22m @ 78.8% CaF2 on the northwest wall—including a 9m section grading 84.5% CaF2—and 15m @ 85.8% CaF2 on the central bench. Thirty-one samples from Horseshoe returned grades exceeding 90% CaF2, with a peak value of 98.8%.

The channel sampling covers an 80-metre-wide exposed zone within the historic pit, with mineralisation remaining open up-dip beneath a silicified cap and down-dip beneath talus cover.
OD6 completed the acquisition of the Quinn project in August 2026 through its subsidiary US Fluorspar LLC, securing 100% ownership of 226 mining claims covering approximately 1,890 hectares. Recent metallurgical testwork at the project has demonstrated the effectiveness of sensor-based ore-sorting in separating high-grade fluorspar from waste at a coarse crush size.
The company is advancing a permitting program that includes environmental baseline studies, archaeological surveys, and the preparation of drilling and bulk sample approvals, alongside optical sorting and beneficiation studies to evaluate production pathways for Metspar and Acidspar products.
