Olympio Metals has started exploration at its US silver projects in Idaho and Montana, with drill pads under preparation at the Jacknife Project ahead of an imminent rig mobilisation.

The company is advancing its 80-percent interest in Jacknife under a binding agreement covering 335 acres of patented mining claims in Idaho’s Silver Valley. The maiden drill program will target high-grade silver mineralisation at the historical Conjecture Mine and test lateral continuity along the Conjecture Shear Zone.

Preliminary rock chip sampling and trial soil campaigns are also underway across both Jacknife and the Raven Project in Montana to establish surface exploration strategies and secure the first multi-element assays for both areas.

Olympio expects its diamond rig to arrive on site shortly to commence the subsurface testing phase at Jacknife.
