Omega Pacific Completes Williams Sampling Ahead of September Drill Start

Omega Pacific Resources has completed its 2026 sampling program at the Williams Property in British Columbia's Toodoggone District, collecting 255 rock, 181 soil, and 119 talus fines samples across targets spanning an east-west distance of over five kilometres.
The fieldwork focused on the West GIC gold target and the adjacent ROI porphyry target, with all collected samples submitted for assay. Omega Pacific acquired the 11,490-hectare property with over 11,000 metres of historical drilling and previously completed an inaugural drill program in 2024 that returned intercepts including 6.22 g/t gold over 18.98 metres at the West GIC target.
The sampling program extended eastward from West GIC to ROI, where historical and reconnaissance prospecting have shown anomalous copper and high molybdenum concentrations alongside potassic alteration and silicification. Sampling also continued further east on claims staked in 2024, identifying gossans with rock types visually similar to those found at West GIC.
With sampling finished, the company is conducting pad building and preparing for a drone LiDAR and magnetic survey at GIC, weather permitting, in anticipation of the drill program commencing in early to mid-September 2026.
“Our 2026 exploration program commenced mid-August with a sampling program at the West GIC and ROI targets. The 2026 fieldwork and drilling program at the West GIC gold target are designed to expand on the results we delivered in 2024 and demonstrate to our shareholders the full potential of this exploration opportunity,” said Jason Leikam, CEO of Omega Pacific. He added, “West GIC hosts multi-million ounce gold potential. The ROI porphyry target to the east, although demonstrably different than GIC, is equally compelling. While we have several priority targets to advance, we are focused on expanding known gold mineralization at West GIC which remains open in all directions. We anticipate results of our 2026 program will attract positive attention.”

Activity across the wider district continues to draw capital, illustrated when Thesis Gold & Silver Inc. closed a C$58.5 million private placement offering in August 2026 to support its project within the surrounding area, alongside a strategic investment that lifted AngloGold Ashanti plc’s stake to 9.7%.
